Southern Okanagan Wineries

Twice a year we travel to the southern Okanagan Valley to load up on wines from our favourite wineries.

We stay in a summer cabin located on the south end of the idyllic Vaseaux Lake. There are over 80 wineries within an hour’s drive – and we are still discovering them. We’re very fortunate to have such a convenient base of wine tasting operations.

Wild Goose Vineyards

Wild Goose Vineyards is a personal favourite and always a stop during our tour. Not only are their wines delicious, they are reasonably priced rarely going above $25 per bottle. It’s also a few minute walk up the road from Stag’s Hollow.

Recommended wines: God’s Mountain Reisling, Pinot Gris and Autumn Gold.

See Ya Later

Located on the west side of the valley and about a 10 minute drive south of Okanagan Falls, See Ya Later offers good wines, an excellent venue, ranch, yard and restaurant. They really have a thing about dogs though.
