Notes – This was the run that started it all back in 2014. This Pride Race re-inspired me to run more frequently and take up the challenge of running a registered race every month for a year, blog about it and name it OMG Running Series.
The weather was agreeable with a light cloud cover that reduced the blazing and direct sun. I reduced my time by a good three minutes. I salute Vancouver Frontrunners for their excellent organization and their excellent organization skills in putting the Pride Run together. There was a 14% increase in participation from the previous year.
Post dinner brunch was at Milestones English Bay. And it was damn fine.
Next and final in the OMG Running Series: The Vancouver Eastside 10K
Post-Race Pride Picnic
As per tradition friends and I gathered in Stanley Park to enjoy the Pride Picnic and I nailed a photo with this volunteer.
